PUC is always in need of volunteers to help us with all of our projects.
If you want to volunteer, please contact us at: admin@phillyurbancreators.org
Our normal open volunteer hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12-5pm. Farm hours may vary, so please do contact us.
All volunteers will participate in a variety of community organizing campaigns, urban farming initiatives, and service-learning projects, and will help PUC manage and expand it’s overall programs throughout North Philadelphia.
My name is Cody Cotner, and I am a rising sophomore at Williams College. Unfortunately, I have a full-time job at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia doing Congenital Heart Disease research. However, I do have free time at night, which I would like to utilize to make my community a stronger and healthier one. Therefore, I would be willing to work from 5-9, daily off-site. I have many computer skills and am personable so I would be able to do data collection, contact people at their homes, etc. Please let me know if this would be possible.
Thanks,
Cody
That sounds Great! Thanks Cody, we’d love to have you join the crew. It sounds like you have a lot to offer us.
Hello my name is Felix Espinosa. I am part of a La Unidad Latina Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Incorporated hoping to do volunteering on the weekends. We are willing to do anything to benefit the community. We would like to know if possible if we can join PUC and if so what if any papers would be needed to be done, before our school year begins to be able to set a schedule for when we can come in and help out.
Hi Felix,
This is Alex with the Philly Urban Creators (PUC). I just saw your comment on our website about volunteering with us. Thanks so much for reaching out!
We would love to host your group! No papers are needed, we just need to coordinate dates/times so we can make sure some of our organizers can be with you.
What time frame are you looking at coming to volunteer?
